ECOLOGICAL HORTICULTURE LAB

Most of the woody invasive plants in the United States were introduced for horticultural purposes (Reichard and White 2001).  Our lab uses ecophysiological principles and methods to determine what makes some introduced woody species invasive.  Combinations of greenhouse and field studies are used to assess invasiveness.
