Our lab is
interested in identifying and evaluating ideal and suitable
woody plants that are resistant to the harsh conditions of
managed landscapes. Although native species are typically
well-suited and adapted for many sites, we are also interested
in evaluating introduced species, particularly from northeast
Asia. Several evaluative methods are employed, including
water-stress resistance measurements in greenhouse
experiments, cold hardiness experiments in the field, and
long-term survival evaluations. |
