More information will be posted on this website in the near
future concerning the details of this course. Essential plant propagation techniques used
in the Green Industry will be taught and emphasized, but I will also
weave in research writing, literature, and native plant propagation.
Literature, both in the genres of fiction and non-fiction, is
replete with references to plant propagation. Many of the original
settlers of the United States could not have survived without at
least a rudimentary knowledge of how to graft fruit trees and grow
crops from seed. The following is a growing list of books that
either mention actual propagation techniques or use them as
metaphorical devices.
